What are you reading right now? I’m reading The Wright Brothers, by David McCullough. I was inspired by our family trip last month to Greenfield Village near Detroit, where I saw the Wright Brothers’ home as well as their shop. After visiting those two buildings, I had to dig deeper!
I always have a book in my hand as well as an audio book in my ears. I love books! It’s fun to dream about what I would do with $100 to spend at Barnes and Noble! With this giveaway, you just might get that opportunity.

I cover the local NJ Speaker Series and had the good fortune to hear (and meet) David McCullough speak about The Wright Brothers book, among other things. (I brought my mom who is head over heels in love with him and when she met him at the after party the two became fast friends. It was hysterical – talking about being married over 60 years and all about history) ANYWAY I love this post, Paula. Let me know what you think of the book!

I loved your post about David McCullough, Cathy. Thanks so much for sharing it with me!

I am between books right now, but I am looking forward to Jonathan Safran Foer’s next book, which comes out in a few weeks. Sometimes it’s challenging to stay focused on a book when I’m writing a lot!
Paula Kiger (Big Green Pen) says
I can understand that challenge, Sharon. I struggle to get through “paper” books but I fly through audio. I’ve put Jonathan non my reading list!
Suzanne Fluhr says
I’m fortunate to have a bricks and mortar Barnes & Noble bookstore a block from where I live. I really hope they don’t decide to close it.
Paula Kiger (Big Green Pen) says
We still have one here too, Suzanne. Hopefully it will survive.
Barbara Torris says
I want that book! I really, really, really want that book. Sigh.
Paula Kiger (Big Green Pen) says
The Wright Brothers? You’re welcome to have my copy but it takes me FOREVER to get through a book on paper! Let me know.

I am reading (seriously) the AAA guide to New York State. No, actually, I am between books as far as pleasure reading. But I just finished Station 11 by Emily St. John Mandel, and I am considering it one of my all time favorites. An absolute gem.
Paula Kiger (Big Green Pen) says
Oh my gosh New York State is so diverse! So many beautiful areas — of course the city is awesome (and my favorite place ever) but upstate is gorgeous — I’m excited for all you’ll discover!
